Troy Von Balthazar (Chokebore's singer) is releasing his debut solo album on Olympik Disk, the 10th of October. Check this very good music. He will be also feature on "Equally Pink", a song from our debut album "Still Need a Kiss", coming in January 2006. We'll support him for his parisian concert at Point Ephemere, the 21th of November, but we'll talk about that later. Our album is mixed now, we just have to finish a song, and then we'll start to think about the future. Bye Bye

We're mixing our album at the Bleeps studio with Stephane "Alf" Briat, and everything
is okay. Stephane already mixed 7 songs, and we'll finish next week. The 29, our special guest will come to the studio to record his vocals on one of our song. We can't wait to meet him again. Anyway, our debut album will be recorded and mixed (so finished) at the end of the month.

Today we enter in studio for the mix of our debut album ("Still Need A Kiss") with Stephane "Alf" Briat (Air, Phoenix, Jackson, Overhead, Autour de Lucie...) and we are HAPPY. Happy because we are working with one of the best, and because we can't wait to finish our songs. We'll record our last takes, and maybe retouch few songs with him. During two weeks, we'll live an exciting challenge, and hope everything will be fine. The album is coming...

Summer starts again

Both back from holidays, we're ready to our final work with our debut album (coming in January 06...i know we told you that already..). So today, we met the guy who will mix the album, and maybe produce some tracks with us. He's really nice and we can't wait to start to work with him. The 12 of September, we'll be at this nice studio in the 10ème arrondissement.

We're about to mix (and re produce some tracks) with a very good sound engineer / mixer. He worked with a lot of bands we really like, and we're excited about this future collaboration. NACOPAJAZ ONLINE

If you missed it, our label Nacopajaz Records has an online website now. I'll take a break (3days) to go in holidays in Rome. I've never been there, so i'll have to visit all the city and taste the good food. Anyway, we'll work on the album as soon as i'll come back in Paris. We readjusted the volumes of the song "Flicka" and we all think that's a cool song for our first album. I'm listening the new Royksopp album, and i really enjoy it. It's a kinf of mix of kitsh electronic music and dance. Cool. Theodore is now in Greece for holidays, hope he'll have a good time. You'll can hear his second album soon...

SOUS LA PLAGE

Today i was at the fresh festival "sous la plage" and the Hood and The Chap (from Lo Recordings, like our friend Theodore) shows were very nice to hear from the green grass. Hood is certainly a huge influence for all the electronic-pop-rock bands. With MAI we recorded a new version of our song "Flicka" : this new one is a guitar version. And we hope that you'll discover it on ou first album. We are working until August to send the songs to the mix, and then the mastering in September 05.

STILL NEED TIME

We'll finish "Still need a kiss" in July. This will be our first LP, to be released in October 2005. We are finalizing about 13 tracks, and we hope that you'll enjoy it. The song "en fait", from the french magazine "Les Inrocks" VA (CQFD 2005) will be on this album. But the whole album will be more electronic, dark, melodic than this song. Anyway, we are working to put this in stores in October. See you soon.

Hello guys.

Theodore is making his second album for Lo Recordings, and we are working together on this project. It's really exciting, i'm just giving him some help for vocals here and there, or just add few synths. The first sessions sound really nice. More : Theodore will play in London for a festival called "Otherground" (more infos here : http://www.uneasy.org.uk) with ISAN (Morr Music) and others electronic & folk artists. For MAI, this week we'll continue our last compositions with Johanna. These untitled songs are cool and we'll try to make it better & better. That's all.

Hello everyone,

my life is...a studio, it's cool and cool to sing with Johanna, play guitars and make a real album. It's not like i was expecting that, it's more difficult but i think i'd really like to create a good album and i try to do my best. we'll see. We have two more weeks here, and then we'll go in another studio in south of France to record the vocals etc... and then we'll mix it and master it, for a release in oct / nov 2005. stay tuned!!!

Break this week-end. Yesterday we worked on this song called "You know you suck", and it's now an electronic rock song. The beats are loud and hard, and the song becomes very strong. We'll sing on it together with Johanna and i hope we'll have a good one...

STILL NEED PATIENCE

Today i worked from 2pm to 11pm with very small breaks, and i'm tired...My ears are ringing everytime. I realise that's difficult to do an album. It's not like you just play your music for fun, but you have to focus on several works at the same time, and i need to be attentive all the time to every sound, every take, every plug in and every guitar. But it's always a pleasure. It's work, but it's for pleasure, and actually i can't wait to come back at the studio tomorrow to work on our songs and make this album soon. We just finished a first version of this song called "excessif", and it sounds like electronica / hip, reminds me some tunes of 13 & God, The Notwist, AKA..I'm really proud and happy of this song, and it's a good start to give a real colour to our music. We'll sing together on this song, and that will be goof (i hope)...

We finally started to record our first album. Our studio near "Porte de Pantin" is really nice and we can work everyday and everynight. It's a good chance to work with our producer Fedaden (Del Wire), he just helps us for all our songs and all the technical problems we can't resolve alone. He's doing a good job and the ambience is cool. So we've sequences our first song today : "Excessif" and i think that this first demo sounds good. I cannot wait to continue more & more...Tomorrow we'll work on "Flicka" who will normally be our first single. see you
